On May 29, 2025, SHPPAT hosted the Third International Congress of Advanced Aesthetics and Cosmetology at the MAK Albania Hotel in Tirana. The event brought together professionals, institutions, and partners to explore innovation, vocational training, and international standards in the beauty sector.
Opening remarks by Ilir Tafaj, President of SHPPAT (Association of Care and Body Art Professionals), Dr. Iven Schad, Head of German Development Cooperation in Albania, and Dr. Constanze Kuesel, Head of the International Projects Department at the Chamber of Crafts Koblenz, emphasized the importance of vocational education, raising professional qualifications, improving employment opportunities, and enhancing the global visibility of Albania’s aesthetics sector.
A key panel discussion, featuring representatives from public institutions and the private sector, highlighted the importance of recognized certification systems and aligning national training programs with European best practices to ensure quality and long-term sustainability in the field.
