On July 26, 2025, the National Chamber of Crafts of Albania in collaboration with Balance Center and with the support of the Chamber of Crafts Koblenz organized a workshop on Empowering the Textile Handcrafts Sectora. The event brought together artisans, experts, and partners to discuss the current state of the textile sector, its challenges, and opportunities for growth.
Key discussions focused on institutional support, market access, digitalization, legal guidance, and marketing skills, as well as the creation of a structured cooperation network. Participants emphasized the importance of a clear activity calendar including training sessions, fairs, and exhibitions to support professional growth and cultural promotion.
The workshop concluded with the first steps toward a concrete work plan under the Chambers and Associations Project, reaffirming the commitment to empower and strengthen textile craftsmanship in Albania.
